Paringa Estate winery was established by owner/winemaker Lindsay McCall in 1985.
Lindsay McCall established Paringa Estate at Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula in 1985. Beginning on a shoestring budget, Lindsay first planted Shiraz & Cabernet because ‘…red wine could be made in the garage and you didn’t need refrigeration…’ Lindsay believes the best wine comes from ‘…the best possible fruit you can grow…’, and hence puts the vineyard first, working to develop the right process to maximize fruit quality.
