Meet Alkimi Wines, our latest and exciting addition from the Yarra Valley.

With a focus on Rhone Varietals, winemaker Stuart Dudine brings to us a range that reflects strong winemaking philosophies from the Vineyard to Winery. From his time in Europe, at Henschke and Yarra Yerring, Stuart’s passion for Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre has inspired him to create a unique collection of wines that follow European traditions and minimal intervention in the Winery and allow the fruit to speak for itself.

Why did we decide to add Alkimi Wines to our Winestock portfolio?

Why would we not! The decision at Winestock was quick and easy with a unanimous yes around the table on first taste. The range not only filled a hole in our wine portfolio but also has delivered another outstanding addition to it.

How is this brand beneficial to our customers?

Rhone Varietals are a little less known in Australia still and as excellent food matches they can create a wonderful opportunity for conversation and communication.

Are there any outstanding wines as must-tries?

All of them! The Alkimi Wines range speaks for itself with each varietal beautifully crafted to show its true expression of fruit and the vineyard it is sourced from. Try the Alkimi Marsanne Intrépide for something a little left of field. With 21 days on skins it is this crazy culmination of lavender, cinnamon, and sour lolly with grippy tannins and notes of orange peel.
